It is important to make all arrangements in time before goods are shipped as delays with clearance can add significant storage cost.
Goods arriving to airports are subject to handling fees by commercial handling agents and additional daily storage rates are incurred starting after 24 hours of goods being checked in.
Our consultants will identify goods and required taxes in advance of their arrival and will inform you if goods are subject to any duties or restrictions. This ensures that there are no surprises and that the goods are getting cleared quickly to avoid any potential delays. If goods are subject to sanitary or phytosanitary checks, this incurs additional cost which is charged by government agencies.
We are not charging any fees in addition to the charges incurred by these agencies, but inspection fees of these agencies must be compensated by client in full. If we will pay any tax or duty on our client’s behalf, we will charge our agreed disbursement fee on the amount of tax being paid.
